Removing products like Rejuvenate or Orange Glo from your wood or laminate floors can be a very tough, costly and fustrating job if you don’t know what you are doing.
We recently had a customer hire us to clean and remove the product “Rejuvenate” from her new laminate floors which had caused an uneven and blotchy sheen. We were able to remove the product and clean her laminate floors following these steps
Products needed:
- • Spray bottle (optional)
- • Scotch-Brite abrasive pad (green scrub pad with yellow sponge-NOT an SOS, Brillo or steel wool pad)
- • Soft towels
- • New and well rinsed sponge mop OR terrycloth mop
- • Rubber/latex gloves and safety goggles (recommended to prevent eye/skin irritation when handling IFT)
Process
It’s best to begin with a test section in an inconspicuous area (i.e. behind a door). We recommend working in
small sections as you complete this process. Complete all steps before moving onto another section of the
floor.
1. Apply a SMALL amount of the IFT solution to a section of the floor. Use a spray bottle to mist the floor
or squirt a small amount and spread it with a soft cloth. Apply only enough cleaner to wet the floor.
2. Use the abrasive pad and scrub the area. This should remove the wax buildup.
3. After scrubbing the area, wipe the section with a water dampened cloth.
4. The final step is to apply Squeaky Cleaner with a microfiber mop. No water rinse is necessary after this
cleaner is applied. Wipe/mop the floor until it is dry – do not leave the floor wet.
If this is successful in removing the contaminant, proceed with the rest of the floor, following all steps. You may
need to repeat steps 1 & 2 more than once.
If you are not successful in removing the contaminant with this process, you need to remove the remaining
product by abrading the floor (screening or sanding). It is recommended to hire a professional flooring
contractor if abrasion techniques are required.

How do I know if my Dryer vent is clogged?
Before hiring a appliance repair man there is one test you can perform yourself to determine if your have a dryer problem or a clogged dryer vent.
- Remove the old dryer duct from behind the dryer.
- Replace with new dryer vent and attach it to the dryer.
- Extend dryer duct line to vent outside of the house.
- Run your load and see if the cloths are drying normally.
If the dryer is working now, you know the dryer vent line needs to be cleaned otherwise you may need a appliance repair technician or a new dryer.

While I was Cleaning Carpet today I came across a home that had fruit punch stains all over the carpet. Unfortunately cleaning the carpets alone did not remove the stains.
After explaining to the client why the cleaning alone did not remove the dye stain I reccomended a product called RedZone.
After I dried the area that I cleaned, I applied part A of the cleaning solution and then equal parts of part B. I used an iron with low heat over a wet cotton towel to help accelerate the chemical which took the red right out of the stain.
The customer was amazed and very thankful since she felt the landlord would return her $1900.00 deposit.

While cleaning carpet in Wesley Chapel, Florida today, we ran across a carpet that had several ink stains. The customer had rented a carpet cleaning machine which had made the ink stain spread into several large areas.
The first step we used in removing the carpet stain was to apply a product called Stain Zone. This was done around the spot which will help prevent the ink stain from spreading.
We then used a specialty spotter like P.I.G. to blot and remove as much as the color pigment as possible. We had to do this several times and went through two towels.
Once this was done we followed with All Solve to rinse the solvent from the carpet. We also applied a neutral carpet spotter to help remove the stain.
Once we went through these steps, we then rinsed the carpet with our Truck Mounted Hot Water Extraction process. The customer was very pleased with the results.

Deep Clean your Carpet Today! 813-435-1331
Visit us at Deep Clean your Carpets today serving Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Brandon, Valrico, and all of Tampa Bay
Today we cleaned carpets and tile in lutz, Florida 33558. We encountered soil filtration lines around the baseboards and several coffee stains.
If you have light colored carpet, you may have experienced these dark lines that appear on the carpet. This soiling is called filtration soiling because it comes from air passing through the carpet as it is attempting to get through the crack between the carpet and the baseboard or under a closed door. As the air passes through the edge of the carpet pile, this microscopic soiling is deposited there.
This occurs over a significant period of time and is not noticed until a build up has occurred.
This type of soiling is difficult to remove because the soil particles are so fine that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile, sometimes into the backing of the carpet.
Can it be removed? Sometimes. With special products, time and effort, reasonable results can sometimes be achieved.
To help prevent filtration soiling, vacuum and wipe the edges of the carpeting on a regular basis. Be careful around the tack strip on the edge of the carpeting, it could nick your fingers!
If you are in need of this type of Cleaning we have special products to remove these types of stains.

Are you looking for a Professional Carpet Cleaner , pet odor and stain removal in the Valrico and Riverview area call 813-435-1331
Today we were cleaning carpets in Valrico, Florida 33594 and came across carpet that was stained with pet urine. The Carpets had severe pet odor and pet stain contamination.
In order to remove pet odor and pet stains you must first remove the pet contamination from the carpet, carpet pad, and sub floor.
We were able to remove the odor from the carpet using a product called “OSR” which combines the power of natural oxygen with biological power of odor modification to destroy odorous materials without leaving strong artificial fragrances behind.
There are many choices you can use to treat pet odor and hiring an experienced cleaner can discuss these options with you.
Here is a brief description of the primary odor control chemistries in use today:
1. Biological agents: often referred to and enzymes, eliminate odors by metabolizing (eating) the odorous material.
2. Pairing agents: eliminate odors by bonding to the odor molecule. Thereby altering the shape of the odorous molecule so the olfactory senses no longer recognize the odor.
3. Molecular encapsulation: utilizes multiple bonding mechanisms to pull the odorous molecule into the active molecule and thereby absorb the odor much like a sponge absorbing moisture.
4. Physical encapsulation: occurs when a film-forming agent engulfs the odorous substance and physically prevents the release of odor.
5. Molecular cleaving (oxidation): reactions that chemically change (break apart) the odorous molecule and combine with it to form different substances.
6. Odor modification: based on the zwaardemaker conjugates theory where two different odors will cancel each other out. In odor control, fragrances are formulated that cancel out the most common odors encountered such as urine, feces, and mold.
7. Emulsification: acid based products designed to dissolve urine salts and neutralize ammonia and suspend the contamination so it can be rinsed away.
8. Masking agents: simply provide a pleasant fragrance that mutes the malodor so as to make it more tolerable.

For 24 hour water extraction for your home or business in the Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Brandon and St. Petersburg areas
Please call 813-435-1331
This morning one of my clients in the Citrus Park area of Tampa, Florida needed water extracted from their carpets. The toilet overflowed and caused their carpets to become soaked with water.
This may not seemed to be a big deal to the home owner but several problems could have ac cured if they did not act quickly especially since it happened on the second floor.
Besides of having standing water, homeowners should be aware of ceiling damage since the sub floor could leak to the first floor, mold and odor issues, and electrical.
When You Encounter Water Damage:
Turn off the water source – If you cannot determine the source of the water leak, then turn off the water at the water meter.
Be aware of electrical currents throughout the building. If flooding exists, do not use any electrical appliances.
Take steps to remove as much excess water from your floors until National Floor Care Specialist arrives.
Pay attention to possible sagging ceilings which could soften down and possible collapse on top of you.
Save any valuables by moving them out of the water. If the furniture is too heavy try placing aluminum foil below the legs for easier maneuverability.
Lift the bottom of floor length drapes off the floor to avoid further damage from the water.
